Overview
This Return Policy outlines the procedures and conditions for returning rented furniture and decor items to Zakthrexshex. As a rental service, our return process differs from traditional retail returns.
Rental Period
All furniture and decor items are rented for a specified period as outlined in your rental agreement. The standard rental period includes:
- Delivery and setup on the day before or day of your event
- Use during your event
- Pickup on the day after your event or as specified in your agreement
Return Process
Zakthrexshex handles the return process for all rented items:
- Our team will arrive at the scheduled pickup time to collect all rented furniture and decor
- Items should be gathered in an accessible location at the venue
- You do not need to clean the items, but they should be free of excessive debris
- All components and accessories must be returned with the main items
Condition Requirements
Rented items must be returned in the same condition as delivered, allowing for normal wear and tear from appropriate use. Unacceptable conditions include:
- Broken or damaged furniture pieces
- Stained or torn linens beyond normal use
- Missing items or components
- Damage from misuse or negligence
Inspection
All returned items are inspected upon pickup or return to our facility. If damage or loss is identified:
- You will be notified within 48 hours of pickup
- Photographic evidence will be provided
- Repair or replacement costs will be assessed
- Charges will be applied to your payment method on file
Damage Fees
Damage fees are calculated based on the cost to repair or replace items:
- Minor damage: Repair cost plus handling fee
- Major damage: Replacement cost or professional repair cost
- Lost items: Full replacement value
- Stained linens: Cleaning fee or replacement cost if stain is permanent
Damage Protection
Optional damage protection is available at the time of booking. This protection covers accidental damage up to a specified amount, excluding intentional damage or gross negligence.
Late Returns
If items are not available for pickup at the scheduled time:
- Late fees apply at a rate of 50% of the daily rental rate per day
- You must contact us immediately to reschedule pickup
- Extended rental periods can be arranged in advance for an additional fee
Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation terms are outlined in our Terms of Use. Refunds for cancelled rentals are processed according to the following schedule:
- 30+ days before event: Full refund minus processing fee
- 15-29 days before event: 50% refund
- Less than 15 days before event: No refund
Weather and Emergencies
In case of severe weather or emergencies that prevent pickup:
- Contact us as soon as possible to arrange alternative pickup
- Items should be protected from the elements if possible
- No late fees will apply for delays caused by documented emergencies
Disputes
If you disagree with damage charges or other fees:
- Contact us within 5 business days of receiving the charge notification
- Provide any evidence supporting your position
- We will review the dispute and respond within 7 business days
